Well we had our first set visit by a reporter from THE HINDU, a national newspaper here in India.

Sangeetha Devi Dundoo came over, spent the afternoon and interviewed some of us on the set.

The Family Picture Article

It's been really difficult to Blog this past week, as our schedule has been crazy..We are now at the point where we are in a different location every day, often times out on the streets of Hyderabad...I leave you with a few great pix of the crew at work...Only 10 more shooting days to go over the next 2 1/2 weeks..but they are HARD DAYS!

Here we are trying to figure out the next day's schedule and yes that is often a perplexing thing!

This is Sundeep the Gaffer and Mani The Clapper watching an important scene.

The entire crew was riveted watching the cast work that day. There were 10 principles and many had very emotional moments to portray...All the actors did an amazing job. In fact, you know you've got something really good going on when you crew gets quiet and really listens! I can't spill the beans about the end of the film, but I will say that Teja, the young boy playing Ravi, gives an astonishing performance....

Derth Explains to Uma and I how he plans to capture the complicated climax...

Our 2nd 2nd, Jagdish, plans props for the next day (cool picture Kiran!)

The Boys often blow off steam during lunch with cricket...

This is India's national obsession and on the days there are matches, we have to keep a tv close by...

This crew is very close and loyal to each other and we have a very happy set. Some of these guys have been working together for years...

Kittu, Srini and Kiran watch the cricket action....

And of course no shoot is complete without a couple of crew birthdays!

Happy B-day Huma and Mani!

The end of another long day...

Tired but still smiling half way through the shoot!
