Bolly Blog 35 - Shooting the Song

Well, we've come to one of the hardest parts of the shoot - filming the final song for the movie...This is similar to shooting a music video and takes us two days of filming...

Everyone is very excited about the music that has been composed and believes that this song will be a hit, which helps sell the movie tremendously in India...

Uma has worked very hard story boarding the entire movie and here a few of his story boards for the song...

Derth then interprets Uma's vision...

Uma's story board...

Derth's shot...

Raj is famous for her dancing ability...

And does a killer job!

Another very important piece of this puzzle is the choreographer, Nixon. He actually directs these dance sequences and he's a thrill to watch in action!

Uma, Raj and Nixon watch playback on a dance sequence.

We also had a very special performer in this song...

Who's that swarthy man? None other than our First A.D. Sashin...

a real pro-with Raj....

After two long days we all got a little silly and slap happy...

I was dressed up by the girls, who told me I looked like a real North Indian princess!

And look at the hilarious result!

On the last day, Bhupesh presented me with this fantastic poster...Yes Folks...my own bollywood movie coming to a theater near you...
